Where Pelvic Floor Health Finally Gets The Respect It Deserves.

Hi, I’m Kate — Acupuncturist & Pelvic Floor Specialist

With a background in psychology and nearly a decade in clinical practice, I’ve helped active people and everyday movers get to the root of pain that hasn’t responded to traditional care. My work focuses on restoring real function — not just masking symptoms.

I first experienced acupuncture in my early 20s after a physically demanding job left me with ongoing shoulder pain. One treatment gave me relief I hadn’t found anywhere else — and I never forgot it. Years later, that experience guided me toward this work.

Time and again, I’ve seen how pelvic floor dysfunction hides behind symptoms like:

  • Chronic low back, hip, or core instability

  • Leaking with exercise or sneezing

  • Pain during sex

  • Urgency or frequent urination

  • Digestive dysfunction

  • That frustrating “something’s off” feeling no one else can explain

The more I learned, the more I realized: we’re not addressing this enough. That’s why I trained extensively in functional dry needling, electroacupuncture, and pelvic floor-focused care — all delivered with respect, consent, and real results.

What It’s Like to Work With Kate

My approach is focused, functional, and personalized — no fluff, no cookie-cutter treatments.

I use the Exstore™ system to assess muscle function and identify what’s actually going on under the surface.

Each session blends orthopedic acupuncture, dry needling, and electro-stim with thoughtful movement and home care support.

Pelvic floor treatments are always external, always by consent, and always guided by your comfort. You’ll know what’s happening and why — and you’ll never be pushed past what you’re ready for.

You’re in control. I’m just here to help your body work the way it’s meant to.

Let’s Break the Silence — & Get to the Source

We treat hamstrings, shoulders, and ankles without shame. It’s time to normalize support for the muscles that form the literal foundation of your body.

Pelvic floor dysfunction doesn’t care about your gender — and neither do I. If you’ve got a pelvis, you deserve care.

Whether you’re an athlete, a new parent, or just tired of feeling off, know this: these symptoms are common — but they’re not “just part of aging” or “something you have to live with.”

They’re treatable.

And you don’t have to do it alone.

The Bottom Line

I am not here to fix you.

I’m here to help your body find its way back to strength, stability, and ease — from the foundation.
